ISO 9001 Certification opens door to prestigious European Quality Award

Certification gives customers many reasons to prefer Soar Printing

Soar Printing is an industry leader in the printing sector. In recent years the family business, which dates back to the 1920s, has bravely gone where no other New Zealand printing business was prepared to go.

To date the company has achieved required standards for ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), Enviro-Mark NZ Diamond, Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PE FC).

In April 2007 Signature Travel and BTI, two prominent New Zealand travel companies merged to become BTI Signature Travel Ltd. Signature Travel had been ISO-certified since 1993 but the merger gave the new company an opportunity to review and certificate all of its operating processes and procedures to ISO 9001 standards. The company’s General Manager of operations and quality Lynn Adams-Pearce, explains why they opted to do so despite the heavy workload imposed on both staff and existing operating systems by the merger.
