Certificates of Registration issued by Telarc for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 are recognised throughout New Zealand and in 42 other economies where New Zealand exporters trade. Through Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MLAs) between Accreditation Bodies in these economies, certificates issued by Telarc for these quality and environmental management systems will be recognised and relied upon for international trade. This avoids any technical barriers to trade that would otherwise increase costs for exporters, importers and consumers, and reduce competition and standards of products and services.
Those economies that have signatories to MLAs include:
| Argentina | Australia | Austria |
| Belgium | Brazil | Canada |
| People’s Republic of China | Czech Republic | Denmark |
| Egypt | Finland | France |
| Germany | Greece | Hong Kong, China |
| India | Indonesia | Ireland |
| Italy | Japan | Republic of Korea |
| Malaysia | Mexico | Netherlands |
| Norway | Philippines | Poland |
| Portugal | Romania | Singapore |
| Slovakia | Slovenia | South Africa |
| Spain | Sweden | Switzerland |
| Chinese Taipei | Thailand | Turkey |
| United Kingdom | United States of America | Vietnam |
