When evaluating a business, we look at a whole range of activities that tell us the five core business processes are being delivered. We talk to senior managers, interview staff and talk to customers. We also walk around the company, look at their business systems and how their staff interact with customers.
From a comprehensive list of customer-focused activities, we select those that are typical for the type of business the company is in. Each activity is scored so that at the end of the evaluation, an overall score is obtained that tells us the level of customer experience each company is providing.
